Contrary to what its name suggests, the Texas Lemon Law is not a legislation
that deals with the buying and selling of fruits or rule against its bright
It does not even come close.
Rather it involves the right of American consumers, who buy vehicles, used or
brand new, cars or trucks, to return defective products and ask for a refund.
Along with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the Uniform Commercial Code,
the Texas Lemon Law or Lemon Law in general protects the rights of American
citizens to quality products that would give them value for their money.
In general, the Lemon Law requires car manufacturers and not car dealers to
refund the money a consumer has paid for if a car is found to be a 搇emon.?The
definition of a 搇emon car?is of course different with every state depending on
what the state legislation says. Usually, states differ in their definition of
what a 搇emon?car is and the period of warranty that is given to the consumer.
The Texas Lemon Law, for one, allows for four repair attempts or 30 days out
of service for defects that are not so life-threatening. For serious product
defects that pose a serious safety hazard such as problems in the steering wheel
or in the brake, the Texas Lemon Law allows for only two repair attempts. If
after the stated number of repair attempts, the defects have not been fixed,
then a car will considered a 搇emon?and therefore eligible for refund. The repair
attempts under the Texas Lemon Law should of course happen within a period of
two years or 24 autel,000 miles
whichever comes first for the four attempts. A period of one year or 12,000
miles is given to defects that affect the safety of the car.
Similar to other state laws, the Texas Lemon Law also requires consumers to
have their cars fixed in authorized service centers and to make no unauthorized
modification or alterations in the car. This is done to avoid questions that
will be raised by manufacturer as they are accorded the right to investigate and
challenge the claim. If the defect has been found to be caused by neglect, abuse
and alterations not sanctioned by the manufacturer then no refunds will be
Consumers, under the Texas Lemon Law, are also asked to put their complaint
into writing, stating the defects of the car. This is especially needed if it is
stated in the vehicle抯 manual. Supporting documents should be kept in hand such
as receipt of the purchase, which would state when the car was bought, repair
receipts as well as diagnosis of the problem.
In addition to refunding the money, the Texas Lemon Law may also invoke the
manufacturer to pay for incidental costs that the consumer has incurred due to
the defect in question such as towing services and even rental of car while the
搇emon?is still in the repair shop. Refunds will also not be given in full. Under
the Texas Lemon Law, the purchase price will be lessened by the equivalent
amount of the mileage that the owner has used the car.
While most companies have good arbitration programs which they use to cut
down legal costs just in case the complaint goes to court, there are some car
manufacturers who will remain firm that the defect was not there when you bought
the car. If this happens, complainants are encouraged to seek legal counsel Autel
Would you buy an Undercover tonneau cover after a review like this? The
undercover tonneau cover is custom-made to fit your make, model and year of your
vehicle. This particular truck bed cover is a low profile, weather tight tonneau
cover. You would class it as a hard tonneau cover, but being constructed of ABS
keeps it light weight and easy to handle. It has quick release hardware to
enable you to put it on or take off quickly. The cover is constructed to prevent
warping in direct sunlight. It can be painted but because of the texture there
may be a slight difference in the color of your truck if your using a metallic
paint. It seems a solid color paint is fine. It comes at a very descent price as
far as hard tonneau covers go.
You may be able add accessories to your undercover tonneau cover but you best
consult the factory to avoid losing your warranty. Your Undercover Tonneau Cover
is backed by a limited 3-year warranty.
There is no need for drilling to install it. It is easy to install. If you
have a bed liner you may have to trim down the sides to accommodate the truck
cover. They say you can install it in 15 minutes but in my opinion that would
only happen if you had done it before autel
maxidas ds808. I would say any where between 25 minutes to one hour
depending how much of a knack you have of doing this type of thing. Even at one
hour, I think would be pretty good for something your going to get great use out
of. I mean it will keep your cargo dry and out of sight of people who like to
take things that don't belong to them. It will also add to the look of your
To help you protect your cargo it comes with two stainless steel locks. It
comes with wall mount hardware so you can hang the tonneau cover up and out of
the way in your garage. This is a very convenient accessory that undercover
offers. The cover opens easily with the aid of two struts one on either side of
Out of all the reviews I've read on tonneau covers the undercover tonneau
cover seems to have the least negative items. It seems most people are very,
very satisfied with this tonneau cover and how great it is at keeping the rain
off their cargo.
In my opinion, if your looking for a hard tonneau cover that looks great , is
very strong, easy to install and worth every cent you paid for it. Look no
further. No cover is absolutely rain proof but this cover is as close as you can
get. I searched for bad reviews on this tonneau cover but I couldn't find
anything that was worth mentioning. Most tonneau covers people buy, they may
love them, but they still find minor defaults they mention. As weird as it seems
this Undercover tonneau cover seems to pass all tests.
If you have some negative feedback on this cover please let me know through

Retreaded car tyres (or remoulds as they are sometimes better known) have
been a part of the tyre market for many years. It is not that long ago that
every tyre dealer in the country sold retreaded car tyres as a budget line.
These days, the increased influx of cheap new tyres from China has meant that
retreads are now available only through selected dealers. However, with
environmental issues becoming more important to the general public, it is the
retread's status as a recycled product that is now becoming more important.
How is a Retread Made?
Firstly, the retreader takes a worn tyre casing and inspects it to check it
is suitable for retreading. The remaining old tread rubber is then removed
during a process called "buffing". This provides a profile and surface texture
in preparation for the application of a new tread.
The tyre is then inspected for a second time and any correction work is then
carried out before the next stage of the manufacturing process, which is the
application of a new tread and sidewall veneer. In car tyre retreading this is
done by applying uncured tread and sidewall rubber, usually by using a
The built tyre then moves on to the curing or vulcanisation process. In car
tyre retreading this is carried out in individual curing moulds (similar to
those used in new tyre manufacturing).
After curing, a final inspection process is carried out identify any
potential defect. Unacceptable tyres are rejected and scrapped.
What is the Quality of Retreads Like?
Despite the historical image, the quality of retreaded tyres today is very
good. Since 2004 all retreaded car tyres in the UK have been subject to an ECE
Regulation (Reg 108), which stipulates that all retreads have to meet the same
load and speed test criteria as new tyres. Each retreader has to subject a
proportion of his production for testing and, if his tyres fail, he runs the
risk of being closed down. Retreaded tyres not produced to ECE 108 are illegal
One erroneously held belief is the idea that retreads cannot be used on
motorways or above 50 mph. Absolute Rubbish! Most retreads sold in the UK market
are rated to either T (118 mph), H (130 mph) or V (149 mph). The exception is
some retreaded winter tyres which may be Q rated (99 mph) but these are mostly
Another myth is the belief that the discarded tread rubber from truck tyres
that you see on the side of motorways is from retreads. Not true. Truck tyre
failures occur primarily as a result of poor tyre maintenance, for example by
running a tyre underinflated or when the tyre has suffered some kind of damage.
In this case the tyre will fail regardless of whether a tyre is a retread or a
Incidentally retreads make up about 40% of all truck tyres on the road and in
many applications they routinely outperform new tyres.
How Green Are Retreads?
Retreads are extremely environmentally friendly.
Firstly, the production of a retread saves substantial amounts of fossil
fuels. In fact, the manufacture of a passenger retread requires 4.5 gallons less
oil than a new tyre.
Secondly, retreaded car tyres sold in the UK are almost exclusively
manufactured in the UK, which means they don't have to be shipped from the other
side of the world, unlike many budget new tyres, a high proportion of which are
manufactured in China and other Far East countries.
Retreading is also the best practical environmental option for tyre
recycling. Every retread used means one less new tyre saving in natural
resources. It also means that less tyres ultimately have to be burned (the most
common form of disposal in the UK) thereby reducing pollution Autel
MaxiSys Pro. In fact, a recent study by the Environmental Association found
that out of all the various options for tyre recycling, retreading has the least
environmental impact. So retreads really are green.About Author : Article

Some cars are built for efficiency while others for comfort; however if you
want to go fast and if you're a true car enthusiast, chances are that you will
be drawn in by the allure of a sports car. These cars focus on performance only;
no matter what the price of gas is to fill her up or how small the trunk is, the
only thing that matters is performance and speed. Take a look at our top picks.
The GT-R is expensive but a definite super car while the F-86 is more within
reach for the average shopper. Either way you can't go wrong with these hot
Nissan is more known for their safe but predictable cars like the Maxima or
the Sentra, but it's the 2011 Nissan GTR that is truly exciting and a pure beast
to drive. On the exterior this ride is sporty, aggressive, bold and very eye
catching. It is well equipped with a super powerful 3.8 Liter six cylinder
engine which outputs an intense 434 horsepower; this beast of a car can reach
intense speeds of up to 193 miles per hour Autel
Nissan is normally known as an affordable brand but the GT-R is on another
level; this car can compete with exotic and exciting but very expensive rides
like Ferrari and other exotics. It can go from zero to sixty mph in just 3.3
seconds! That's faster than a lot of exotic cars that cost a small fortune. Gas
mileage isn't too great at 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the freeway but that
is to be expected of a vehicle with an emphasis on speed, power and supreme
Take a look inside the car and you will find seats covered in luxurious rich
leather, a hard drive to house all of your favorite tunes and the ability to
plug in your Ipod or any other music player. Trunk space is a bit on the small
ride with 8.8 cubic feet but that's not too bad for a high performance sports
car. Pricing starts at around the $62,700 level.
The second car we will examine is the long awaited F-86. It has not been
released yet but we will be very excited once it is. It will be built by Toyota
but utilize the Subaru platform. The engine is expected to put out anywhere
between 200 and 250 HP although definite numbers have not been officially
released yet. In contrast with the luxury GT-R sports car, the FT-86 will be
much more affordable and a more realistic purchase for the majority of shoppers
with a modest price tag of around twenty three thousand dollars.
As of the moment Toyota does not have a hot rod sports car in its lineup and
it hopes that the F-86 can appeal to the sports car market. Toyota has not
released an official release date yet but we are sure that the auto maker will
make big waves once it sets a date Autel

consider the GT-R. If you are on a limited budget, we suggest that you wait
until the F-86 debuts.Written by Lexus Carrera. If you are in Los Angeles
