Used Rolls Royce - Buying a Used Phantom Alerter l'administrateur Recommander à un ami Lien de l'article

The new Phantom's have been described by Rolls-Royce as their car for the 21st Century. The name has been around since the early 20th century, having two series in Rolls 100 year history, but now they have updated the series for a modern market. Whether you're a fan of the brand or not, you can't help but admire the cars they produce. The Phantom's have several types which cater to certain purposes; the Phantom, Phantom Family, Phantom Coupe, and the Drop Head Coupe Autel MaxiSys MS906TS, each similar but all different. The Phantom Coupe for example is driver orientated, with all the classic proportions you would expect of a classic Rolls-Royce, which concentrates on giving the driver a pure Royce experience, whereas the Drop head Coupe is a more relaxed interpretation of the classic design Autel Maxisys MS908CV.

21st Century hasn't been taken to the extreme though, and Rolls-Royce still takes inspiration from the 20th Century. The Drophead Coupe pays homage to the classic J racing yachts of the 1930s, but Rolls has updated it for a motoring audience of today. In fact, the entire Phantom series is noticeable not just from the shapes, but from the coach doors.

You don't have to watch from afar to appreciate the cars, and you don't have to buy a Rolls Royce brand new to get to experience them first hand.

Used Rolls-Royce of all ages are available from all good online dealers, with the price dropping from its original price by around 65 percent within three years of being released. A Phantom for example, after three years can be obtained online for just £100,000 - £250,000. Although by any average standards this is not a cheap buy, it's a slashed price by half from their debut prices, and considering the history and reputation of the company behind them. Luxury isn't just a myth, it's a guarantee. The difference between a used Phantom and other models being sold used is that the quality isn't lost over time.

Some may not appreciate the shape of the cars. If you are for example not a fan of the classic design; short front overhang, long rear overhang and other familiar proportions, maybe because you prefer smaller and more rounded cars then this series may not be for you; they really have stayed true to their routes. But in terms of quality, most cars will begin to deteriorate within years of being bought, but when put together with as much care as they do at Rolls Royce, they are like new even if they have a large mileage, so long as they are looked after properly. Phantom over the years has been Rolls Royce main product, but this series of the iconic name is the first attempt at Phantom since they were taken over by BMW in 2003. The first Phantom wasn't as popular as later phantoms but it is still an amazing car. Buying a used car from the Phantom series, you can guarantee they will be in expected luxurious condition.

Used Ford Explorer spa A Lot of Car For Your Money Alerter l'administrateur Recommander à un ami Lien de l'article

With the current high cost of fuel, the gloomy economic future not to mention the whole global warming thing a used 4x4 might not be uppermost on your mind right now. The good news however is if for whatever reason you were thinking of buying one there are some absolute bargains to be had out there in the somewhat depressed world of the used 4x4.

When Ford introduced the Explorer to the UK in 1997 it must have been pretty confident that it would secure healthy sales. Not only was the car the world's bestselling 4x4 at the time but the market for luxury SUVs was positively booming especially in the UK.

However, some UK buyers were put off by the £25,000 price tag and rather heavy fuel consumption and as a result sales were rather disappointing to the extent that just four years later Ford stopped selling the Explorer in Britain.

A few years on and the demand for 4x4s has plummeted, but if you are in the market for a large luxurious vehicle then a used Ford Explorer has much to commend it.

The Explorer was only available with one engine, a 4 litre V6 petrol unit producing a hefty 208hp which was more than enough to power the 2,000kg vehicle from 0-60mph in less than 10seconds and on to a top speed of 100mph. The slight downside to that is that it does less than 20mpg which is not terribly encouraging.

The Explorer's main market has traditionally been America which again until recently would not have been the slightest bit bothered by such a thirst for fuel. As a result the US influenced styling is fairly evident in the round front end and generous seats. Rear legroom is on the tight side if the front seats are pushed right back but there is no shortage of shoulder room thanks to the vehicle's 6ft 5in width Autel MaxiSys MS906TS.

In terms of load carrying the Explorer is pretty hard to beat. There is a useful split rear tailgate that opens separately, similar to that on the Range Rover, which makes loading and unloading easy, and there's also a step built into the rear bumper that makes lifting luggage onto the roof bars fairly straight forward.

With a towing capacity of more than 2,500kg it will easily handle a standard caravan, trailer or horse box. Boot space is generous, and although the high ground clearance can make the leap a bit challenging for small or old dogs the optional rear dog guard is ideal for keeping man's best friend safely contained.

American buyers always demand a high level of standard equipment on their cars and UK buyers benefit from this. All models come with air-conditioning, cruise control, twin airbags, factory sunroof and remote central locking as standard and the XLT model has the addition of leather upholstery and heated front seats with electric adjustment.

On road the Ford Explorer is a surprisingly decent drive, and despite its size and weight generates fairly minimal body roll. The slightly dated rear leaf springs soak up bumps quite well and the robust traditional chassis gives the vehicle a strong feel, while nicely weighted power steering gives a reassuring drive.

Off road, Ford's "Control Trac" 4x4 system, switches automatically from rear-wheel drive to all-wheel drive as required, while a dash mounted switch allows you to select between high and low gear ratios when conditions require it.

With used prices now being so good the Ford Explorer is certainly a bargain alternative to the usual contenders from Mitsubishi, Land Rover and Jeep, but as with all older cars you will need to check the vehicle over carefully.

Spare parts are still easy to find at Ford dealers but they can be expensive, for example front wishbone ball joints are not cheap to replace, and be wary of dirty oil, which can often signal a block in the oil feed on the timing chain tensioner. Repairing this will result in a large bill. As with all older vehicles, items such as air-conditioning and electric seat motors need to be checked for performance.

The Ford Explorer may have received a lukewarm reception from British buyers when it was first launched but if you are looking for a big Autel MaxiTPMS PAD, comfortable, reasonably priced and well equipped 4x4 it certainly deserves a second look.

The Ford Explorer is a used 4x4 bargain at the moment as Jon Barlow discovers at Used Ford.

Used Cars And Truck Deals Alerter l'administrateur Recommander à un ami Lien de l'article

Used cars and trucks can save a buyer a ton of money. Your savings in the short run will be on the cost of the vehicle the taxes and depending on locality tabs and licensing. In the long run you will save on insurance and if you buy a vehicle with good ratings and a good resale value it will probably retain that value over the years and it all depends on the model or make of the vehicle.

When out at used car dealer lots or checking out private sales it is best to have either a personal loan or know what your loan options are available. It can take the reassure off from a high pressure sales pitch as your signing paper work and a contract with a dealer. It pays to shop around on financing first instead of waiting to your only option and possibly ending up paying much higher interest rates on a loan. If your paying cash then the pressure is off and you also have a better bargaining position to negotiate a better deal on used cars.

Usually with a large laundry list a seller may be willing to reduce or come down to your price. If not just be firm and let them know that you are shopping give them your phone number and let them know that if they should change their mind within the next 24 hours to give you a call.

When searching for that special deal there are other sources to consider. Police auctions or government auctions can be a great source of cheap used cars, truck, SUV's, motorcycles and much more. May of these vehicles are procured by confiscation, recovery, surplus or have even just been abandoned. Bank reposes ions can be another cheap source your bank may even list these online or in a monthly newsletter.

There are advantages to buying a used car from a dealer or a private party. A reputable dealer will often inspect used cars and trucks and if they do not pass they are then sent off to auction or a bargain lot across town. Also with a dealer you may be able to negotiate a used extended car warranty at dealer cost into the deal. With a used car dealer though you will pay a little more for a vehicle in excellent condition as oppose to a private sale. Regardless of who buy a used car or truck form you should try to have a mechanic do an engine check or diagnostic test if time permits before you make that purchase. Your best deals though do not always allow you this freedom so if you know what to look for and what questions to ask you should increase you chances of getting an excellent used car deal.

Used Car Basics Alerter l'administrateur Recommander à un ami Lien de l'article

Some people say obtaining a used car is like navigating a mine field. There are people who would be inclined to agree. The fact of the matter is, obtaining a used car can be one of the most harrowing experiences in the world if the potential buyer hasn't come prepared. There are things that anyone thinking of acquiring a used automobile has to either be aware of or have at their disposal. These things may include the verification of documents and the acquisition of relevant information.

The first piece of information that any prospective buyer should have with them would be their own financial situation. A used car can cost lots of money and a purchase would be ill-advised for anyone who doesn't have the healthiest financial situation. Regardless of where one goes, be it a dealership, a friend, or a website, the sellers will need to check out the buyer's ability to actually pay for the machine. The things that the buyer should check ahead of time would be their credit rating and their debt history. Being aware of one's financial weak points can be of great help come the time to negotiate for the price.

Once the buyer has checked and found their credit rating to be good enough, the second piece of information they should have would be where to buy a used car. As mentioned earlier, dealerships and websites are options. Both websites and dealerships are rampant and it isn't too hard to find one. If the automobile the buyer is interested in isn't very rare, the car itself should be available in most sellers. Of course, the rarer the car, the harder the aforementioned vehicle would be located. The buyer should take time to do a little research to find a seller that he would be comfortable purchasing from Autel MaxiSys MS906TS.

The third piece of information vital to procuring a used car would be whether or not the auto can actually run. It is simply common sense to check if the auto in question is still mechanically functional and that there hasn't been any extensive damage to the machine. The cold reality is that most dealerships don't bother repairing their cars too much, so giving a vehicle a close inspection for any mechanical flaws and damaged components is integral to the whole buying process. Buyers should feel free to ask for a test drive, should they feel it necessary.

Finally, every buyer should know how to negotiate with the person selling the car, be it a friend or the local dealer. The purchase of a used car is, in a way, an investment and, like all investments, it should not be taken lightly. As a salesman, his task would be to convince buyers that the sale is already over and that all that needs to be settled would be the details. It is vital that the buyer not allow the salesman to take control of the negotiation process. If the buyer is aware of some details, such as the actual value of the car on the market, the negotiation process becomes less favorable for sales personnel.

In the end, obtaining a used car can be daunting but does not always have to be so. A little research beforehand can go a long way in helping any buyer tip the balance in their favor in the sale of a used car. The tips given above are common sense, though most used auto salesmen have become adept at circumventing the common sense of the average buyer Autel MaxiTPMS PAD. Still, if a buyer is careful and is aware of the way things work, he should have no trouble getting the car he came for.
